Does Jalen Hurts Have a Future in Philly?

Several media outlets have taken to social media platforms like X, Instagram, and TikTok to discuss Jalen Hurts’ future as a Philadelphia Eagle. Multiple social media outlets, including WIP, have claimed over the past few days that the Eagles are ready to move on from Hurts if he does not perform at a high level. They also claimed that the Eagles are “hesitant about Jalen Hurts.”

Clickbait Headlines:

WIP was on air yesterday, Tuesday, June 16, where they claimed: “It’s obvious what is happening here, the Eagles are not in on Jalen Hurts.”

Obviously, Eagles fans have to take everything the media says with a grain of salt because of the amount of clickbait headlines and untrue reports that come out about the team. It is no secret that Philadelphia football fans have one of the worst reputations in the league, and the Philadelphia media also gets a heavy amount of criticism. Headlines and stories like this are a big reason why.

Over the past few years, we have seen plenty of situations where things either get blown out of proportion or just are not true at all. When you think of the Carson Wentz situation and the AJ Brown trade rumors specifically, you think of the nonstop stories and narratives that came out. During the AJ Brown trade rumors involving the New England Patriots this past month, no one was shocked because the narratives had already been stirred up last season.

With all of that said, there is so much information that has come out about Jalen Hurts and AJ Brown’s relationship that just does not add up. I would absolutely hate to see Hurts get driven out of the city because of media rumors that sour his relationship with the team.

The Eagles were Super Bowl champions with Hurts 16 short months ago, and now there are talks of the team giving up on Hurts out of nowhere. Something is not adding up.

Offseason Moves:

Signed WR Hollywood Brown
Signed WR Dontayvion Wicks
Signed CB Riq Woolen
Signed EDGE Jonathan Greenard
Re-signed TE Grant Calcaterra
Re-signed DT Jordan Davis
Drafted WR Makai Lemon
Drafted TE Eli Stowers

Actions speak louder than words. The Eagles have made it clear through their actions that they are continuing to build around Hurts and are gearing up for a dominant season.

With all of this evidence, I can confidently say that I believe, without a shadow of a doubt, that the Eagles are all in on Hurts.

Jalen Hurts has played in the playoffs in four of his five full seasons as a starter. Jalen is a winner, the type of player that you come across once in a blue moon.
